What is Nova?
Nova is Otava’s new digital service for learning and teaching. It combines inspiring content, reliable teaching methods, and advanced technology into a single entity. Nova brings together Otava’s and Finn Lectura’s previous services – Teacher’s World, Pupil’s and Student’s World, as well as Opettajan and Opiskelijan Digipiste services – forming one comprehensive service.
Why was Nova created?
Nova has been developed to provide a smooth and unified user experience for both teachers and learners. This based on the need to gather all learning and teaching tools into a single service. The goal is to build a solution that offers answers for everyday teaching and learning.
How is Nova being developed?
Nova evolves in phases in collaboration with users. The service is built together with teachers and learners: we test plans at an early stage, gather feedback, and make improvements continuously. Digital learning materials are also being renewed in phases as part of this development work.
